SDK Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

role overview

Balancer is a protocol – represented by the Balancer DAO – that empowers other DAOs to build awesome stuff using our permissionless infrastructure. The SDK team is one of our core and most essential teams tasked with making it as easy as possible to build on Balancer. For this reason, we are looking for an experienced javascript/typescript engineer comfortable building modular class-based JS systems. This is a recently established team; your impact will be direct, and you will significantly impact the company’s success.

responsibilities

• designing and building the Balancer SDK and example applications to provide a best-in-class experience for devs building on Balancer
• development and ownership of the best practices for development with a focus on user experience, reliability, and latency
• writing stable, high coverage test cases for features you ship
• debugging issues across multiple levels of the stack

requirements

• minimum of two years of experience with JavaScript / Typescript
• experience in developing libraries and SDKs
• experience with ethers.js, GraphQL, and Solidity is a plus
• self-starter attitude and the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy
• passion for working with DeFi projects
