Product Designer - Remote

role overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Product Designer with extensive experience designing a great web-based experience for our end users. The ideal candidate will have experience in every stage of the product development process; from research, and concept to strategy, UX, and visual design. 

Empathy, creativity, and a strong customer focus are key in this role. Unlike most design jobs, web3 is one of the few areas in development with legitimately unsolved UX challenges. There are a significant amount of things to figure out best practices to develop. We’re looking for someone who’s as excited about finding creative solutions to those challenges as we are!

responsibilities

• Talk to users to uncover pain points, discover new insights and product opportunities
• Illustrate design ideas using prototypes, process flows, and interactive demos
• Help establish a branding and visual design system 
• Join in critiques and standards discussions with your fellow designers across the organization
• Help improve our existing products
• Work shoulder to shoulder with product managers and developers to take your ideas and make them a reality

requirements

• 4+ years of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• A strong design portfolio 
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems
• Deep familiarity with Figma and other modern design tools (Invision, Adobe Cloud, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a history of building relationships with people of all levels and functional areas
• Passion to learn new things and grow

Nice to have: 

• Mixed methods (qualitative + quantitative) UX research background
• Experience designing and conducting high-impact, foundational research projects that informed a solid product roadmap
• Experience (personal or professional) with cryptocurrencies and other web3 technologies
