Head of Finance

role overview

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our team. This role will be responsible for overall finance, accounting, budgeting, treasury, compliance, tax and investment management.

responsibilities

• Handles aspects of risk through accounting, audit, planning and treasury functions
• Manage treasury, cash flow and resource allocation, meeting short and long-term funding needs
• Oversees and reviews accounting tasks, including payroll, taxes, and compliance
• Develops financial models and monitors financial health
• Leads financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Create company policies
• Recommend cost optimizing solutions
• Expense management (review & reimburse)

requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Management or Finance
• 5-10 years of experience in finance, accounting and treasury management
• Proven experience with budgeting and risk management
• Knowledge of the current crypto and/or blockchain landscape 
• Strong analytical skills - experience in Excel and SQL 
• Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• CFA/CPA qualification is a plus
• Hands-on crypto/ blockchain experience in DeFi, NFT, staking
