Senior Protocol Engineer, Client

responsibilities

• Work with protocol engineers to implement Cannon, Optimism’s next-generation fault prover
• Collaborate with the Ethereum community to specify and implement Ethereum Improvement Proposals
• Perform performance analysis and implement performance improvements to Geth and other Ethereum clients

requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
• 4+ years of experience with Golang required
• Deep knowledge of Ethereum and the EVM required
• Strong grasp of computer science and distributed systems fundamentals required
• Experience with containerized infrastructure solutions such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus, but not required
