Developer Community Growth Lead

Responsibilities:

• Growth and developer community engagement: Identify marketing channels, solutions and ideas that will efficiently drive new developers to the community and increase adoption
• Foster a vibrant Discord community, ripe with meaningful conversations and not simply moon talk
• Collaborate with engineering, design, business development, and content teams to integrate LayerZero’s narrative, product positioning, and messaging with all aspects of the user experience
• Work closely with the technical developers, and community managers to ensure a consistent brand voice and accuracy
• Craft narratives, positioning, and branding to boost awareness and engagement
• Collaborate with our content team to create educational content about LayerZero and other products

Requirements:

• 5+ years multidisciplinary marketing experience (specifically including product and/or developer focused marketing)
• 1+ year using DeFi and web3 products in a personal or professional capacity
• Must be capable of writing and creating content that tells a compelling LayerZero story to developers in our ecosystem
• Proven experience of building Twitter and Discord communities
• Copy writing skills (articles, tweets, memes/visuals)
• Experience growing a community and building a significant follower base for developer focused and crypto / web3 projects
• Strong personal presence on Twitter and other social media channels a plus
• A portfolio of strong writing sample
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Web3 and cultural trends
• Excellent writing skills
• Proactive with excellent work ethic
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and multi-task
• Ability to innovate and improve current processes
