Role Overview
Bitwave is looking for an Accounting Solutions Consultant to join our rapidly growing team. The Accounting Solutions Consultant will be responsible for partnering with our sales and marketing teams to drive top line revenue growth for Bitwave. This position will frequently support AEs on sales calls with prospects, provide subject matter expertise internally regarding digital asset accounting topics, and participate in market facing activities like webinars and conferences.
This role requires experience in auditing or advising clients on accounting and tax topics and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about the blockchain industry and excited for continued learning in this emerging technology area. The candidate should also be interested in a fast paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and marketing to drive top line revenue growth
- Support the direct sales team by bringing digital asset accounting subject matter expertise to meetings with prospective clients
- Support the partner sales team by helping position Bitwave as the preferred tech stack for accounting firms
- Partner with marketing to share thought leadership on digital asset accounting and/or tax matters
- Participate in market facing events like Bitwave webinars, conferences, and roundtables
Requirements
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Experience in a auditing and/or advising clients on accounting and/or tax issues is required
- Experience researching technical accounting issues is a plus
- You should have a deep interest in blockchain technology and crypto (DeFi, NFTs, web3)
