Role Overview

NEAR Foundation is looking for a Senior People Partner to join our globally distributed team. This role reports to the Chief People Officer and will be instrumental in building and deploying high-quality People programs that attracts, develops and retains great people, while ensuring our culture and values remain at the forefront of all activity. The successful candidate must be based in Europe.

Responsibilities

People Partnership:

  • Coach, guide and support to leaders and managers across a range of employee relations issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business
  • Build effective relationships with the operational and leadership team, demonstrating the business value that can be added by the People function
  • Encourage the integration of People best practice into working practices and business planning
  • Work closely with assigned leaders and core contributors to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Ensure People policies, processes and procedures are implemented 
  • Consistently deliver an accurate and timely response to transactional activity and business issues
  • Participate in People leadership team, partner with peers in Talent Acquisition and People Operations manager roles

Build and Deploy Key People Programs:

  • Drive talent growth and performance management initiatives. Support the salary and bonus review processes, administer the bi-annual performance management process, facilitate compensation planning and administration, deploy core contributor engagement surveys, etc.
  • Drive our total rewards program, including balancing attractiveness to top web3 talent and fiscal responsibility 
  • Nurture and foster a culture of continuous learning and engagement; proactively identify areas that need attention and improvement; drive high training standards across all divisions, highlighting the need for new training initiatives where required also to support the design and delivery of them
  • Drive NEAR Foundation’s manager development initiatives. In partnership with our professional executive coach, partnership to identify opportunities and coach managers on organizational, leadership, and career development related issues. Monitor training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Proactively identify programs and initiatives designed to support our core contributors and teams do the best work of their lives

Requirements

  • You have at least 7+ years experience in a human resources/people team and at least 4+ years as a people/HR business partner. Web3 experience is highly desirable
  • You have HR experience in some of the following areas: organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity/inclusion, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, employee engagement, coaching / development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis and employee relations
  • You have a passion to deliver a world-class total core contributor experience
  • You are able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and advise people to make the right decisions
  • You demonstrate Successful management of competing priorities, taking initiative, and driving projects to completion in a timely and accurate manner
  • You are able to understand business priorities and translate them into a talent strategy that supports the business as it grows
  • You have polished and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
