Business Development Representative, Public Sector

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced BDR - Public Sector, to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing AnChain.AI’s government relations and sales strategy and initiatives at the international, federal, state, and local levels on issues that are relevant to the company’s vision, mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Articulate and represent AnChain.AI’s vision for the Web3 space in a balanced, informative, and impactful manner
• Help manage existing relationships with our government clients/prospects
• Generate leads with US-based and international government agencies
• Be proactive in finding open tenders and open budgets (i.e. grant opportunities) for blockchain analytics and risk management tools
• Help to create custom presentations for various government agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, political science, or other legal studies required or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of Government affairs and/or business development experience, preferably relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain. Experience at the federal level preferred
• Attend conferences and form relationships with public sector officials
• Build a rolodex of regulator and law enforcement contacts within the US and international space
• Successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of a corporate and governmental organization
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or government procurement processes
• Passionate and up to date on the digital assets ecosystem (blockchain, crypto, NFTs, smart contracts, etc.)
• Self-motivated, strategic and analytical thinker, personable, organized, sees the bigger picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; comfortable with presenting to audiences of various sizes and backgrounds
• Must be able to operate independently, manage multiple competing priorities with deadlines, and exhibit a sense of urgency when necessary
