Role Overview
Shardeum is looking for a Head of Marketing. This role will lead our global marketing efforts and be foundational to our success in architecting and leading our go-to-market strategy across all marketing touch points including but not limited to press, social, email, websites, content marketing, events, performance, and partner marketing. This role reports to our CEO and Founder, Nischal Shetty.
Responsibilities
- Win the North American market through brilliant execution on PR & Branding
- Lead Marketing globally for Shardeum Foundation
- Help us define the Shardeum brand and communicate its values in order to advance the mission of the Shardeum Foundation
- Create and execute marketing strategy synchronized with product and wider go-to-market efforts
- Manage projects across marketing to ensure they are prioritized, on track, and delivered on time
- Analyze and track marketing performance against developed KPI’s
- Develop a deep understanding of our highest potential ROI developer and user personas
- Lead strategies for reaching the right developers, partners, influencers and users in key verticals (eg DeFi, NFTs, Payments and Gaming)
- Work with our Developer Relations team to drive the strategy and promotion of top-tier developer content, community, forums, documentation, and self-serve materials, and support developer marketing efforts across the Shardeum ecosystem
- Build creative user and developer marketing campaigns which resonate with Shardeum Foundation brand values
- Define our events and activations strategy that aligns with Shardeum’s role in the community and with the results and initiatives that we are driving
- Drive the key demographics and influencers to Shardeum’s virtual and in-person events
- Identify, scope, and produce or adapt compelling content and marketing assets to support our teams and drive understanding of and demand for Shardeum
- Build and manage content function
- Principal owner of the Shardeum Foundation websites
- Identify target KPI’s and put systems in place to measure them
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in Developer and User Marketing
- 5+ years building and leading high performing marketing teams
- Proven success building a community in a B2C environment
- Critical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience building world-class, relevant developer and user brands
- Ability to thrive in unstructured, fast-growing companies and ecosystems
- Product or Eng experienced a bonus
