HR/Payroll Administrative Assistant, Blockchain

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to take over HR and Payroll activities for a team of 20-30 employees. This person will report to the founder directly while the job involves communication with company employees and new hires.

Responsibilities

HR functions:

• Create and manage a simple system for maintaining and updating employee records
• Prepare instructions for HR policies and procedures
• Collect new employees’ data and help prepare contracts with lawyers
• Collect vacation and sick leave data, consult employees on the process
• Assist employees in getting residence permits in different jurisdictions, be the main contact for agencies and services involved in the process (Deel, Remote, etc.)
• Book and arrange travel itineraries, transport, and accommodation for the team members participating in the conferences
• Coordinate activities with event management contractors to organize events at the conferences

Payroll functions:

• Assist in the payroll process, help employees to issue invoices, explain nuances of invoicing for individuals and companies
• Assist in paying salaries using bank accounts and/or cryptocurrency wallets

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an HR, administrative, or executive assistant
• PC proficiency and experience in various management software services
• Cryptocurrency literacy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Desire to establish and streamline business processes
• Experience with no code automation software will be a plus (Airtable, Zapier, Slack workflows, etc.)
• English language fluency

Compensation

Salary: 2,000 - 4,000 $BOB

Payment period: once a month

Type: Fully remote and full time

BlockScout is a robust open-source tool for exploring, confirming, and inspecting transactions on any EVM blockchain. It is the only non-proprietary, fully-featured, and opensource block explorer available today. Blockscout provides a full-featured API, real-time transaction tracking, and user-friendly UI (which is currently undergoing a new facelift). Users can read and verify Solidity smart contracts and access pre-existing contracts to fast-track development. Contract method calls and logs are decoded, making all information easily accessible. Blockscout is written in the Elixir programming language, and is open to the community to contribute to its code, use or improve it. We are currently exploring a Rust implementation, code modularity, and other enhancements for future versions.
