Chief of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management on monthly basis
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
• Evaluate computerised accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements
• Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts
• Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in accounting or 2+ as a Chief of accounting
• Excel fluent user
• IFRS/Gaap experience
• 1c software user
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Time management and organisational skills
• Problem-solving skills
• English B2
