Social Media Manager

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will spearhead communication across all active Basketballverse social media channels, including Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, and Medium. The SM Manager will be responsible for content ideas and ensuring their timely execution within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Content Planning and Creation

Take charge of developing relatable content tailored to the target audience, designed to achieve set KPIs. This encompasses generating daily post ideas, crafting creative briefs for copywriters, graphic designers, and 3D designers, leading the creative development process, conducting research, managing the full production process, and delivering final, ready-to-air materials. Additionally, publishing content across social media platforms, analyzing results, and summarizing them for the internal team.

• Contribute to Communication Strategy

Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to participate in the development of communication strategies across various touchpoints. Ensure alignment with brand objectives and integration of content with the brand's creative vision.

• Manage Content Calendar and Partners

Develop, manage, and update the content calendar for assigned social media platforms. Gather the latest updates from social media platforms to incorporate best practices and insights that contribute to reaching KPIs. Work closely with internal and external partners, including creative and production agencies or freelance designers, to develop and deploy content aligned with brand objectives and budget guidelines.

• Stay Current

Stay updated on trends within the basketball, gaming & crypto industry, leveraging expert knowledge to enhance content strategies and execution.

Requirements

• 3/4+ years of experience in Social Media Management and/or Brand Management, Communications.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, managing content calendars, and outside partners.
• Experience in advertising or a social media agency is a plus.
• Interest in basketball, gaming, or cryptocurrencies is a huge plus!
