About the event

Join us April 14th-16th as the Ethereum community converges in Asia for an unforgettable weekend of hacking, summits, and side events celebrating a new year in our ecosystem. Tokyo aims to set the tone for the rest of the year — you definitely won’t want to miss this one.

ETHGlobal Tokyo is an event bringing together some of the top minds and experts in Ethereum Ecosystem to Tokyo. We enable teams to make something great in only 36 hours by providing an abundance of web3 resources like mentors, sponsors, and software. Sleeping is optional, but trying something new is not!

The event is 100% free for attendees (including food). However, we do require hackers to 'stake' a small amount of cryptocurrency to confirm their spot so that we can ensure that we're able to process our waitlist of attendees accordingly. This stake is fully returned to you as long as you participate in the hackathon and submit a project - or even a partial project - at the close of the event.
