responsibilities

• Procure, process and close net new business via timely and focused handling of existing leads as well as developing new connection
• Establish a pipeline and generate new revenue against a quota, focusing mostly on new logo clients with high potential for Optic portfolio
• Develop strong knowledge of web3/NFT environment and design a proactive approach for driving new business
• Position Optic as a trusted partner with decision makers in the potential and existing client organizations, along with creators
• Create, execute, and continuously refine your OKRs and pursuit plans
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including management, developers and investors'network; get up to speed on Optic's strategic ambition, expertise and key value proposition;
• Qualify and drive complex RFP/RFI responses
• Offer thought leadership on the latest technology and market trends via continuous learning
• Identify, articulate, orchestrate and win technology services deals

We are looking for a rock star **Business Development Manager** to join us at the early stage to help set the GTM strategy and sign clients / partnership deals.

Role requirements:

Curiosity, hunger for a new knowledge, “let’s do it” attitude, readiness to get hands dirty and ambition of having a stake in creating a new era, and:

• strong track record in BD/Sales role, 2+ years of experience in selling b2b and b2b2c products
• hands-on experience in leading through all stages of the product lifecycle from vision to launch
• enthusiasm and excitement around Web3 and NFT space and Creator economy
• familiarity with Web3 market landscape: L1 chains, protocols, NFT marketplaces
• understanding the basics of blockchain technology e.g. minting, smart contracts, cryptocurrency, Etherium, Solana and the basics of ML
