Business Development Lead at Neutron

Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated bizdev leader focused on rapidly growing Neutron’s cross-chain DeFi ecosystem. This person will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key protocols and decision-makers within the Cosmos ecosystem and broader crypto market, negotiating grants and funding deals, setting up business development processes and participating in overseeing hiring for the department.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly scale Neutron’s partnerships, user base and developer base
• Design a competitive developer funnel with specific strategies to capture top tier builders and development activity, including but not limited to hackathons, hacker houses, academic partnerships and online academies, meetups, etc
• Assemble and mentor a global BD team
• Supervise attendance to conferences: track relevant events worldwide and make strategic decisions
• Supervise Neutron’s grant and ecosystem partners programs to maximize ROI
• Work with the Community/Marketing departments to coordinate announcements and with the Product/Tech teams to steer Neutron towards its most attractive form

Requirements

• Fluent English (C1 or higher, written and spoken)
• Technology-related sales or business development experience
• Deep understanding of DeFi and Cosmos
• Strong interpersonal and management skills
• Flexibility, autonomy and dedication
