DBA MySQL

Responsibilities

• Database optimization
• Performance monitoring
• Preparation of optimal queries for current tasks

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on DBA experience using MySQL or Postgres SQL
• Comprehensive experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with High Availability solutions such as MySQL clusters
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically in AWS/GCP
• Knowledge and experience in web information architecture, programming, and cloud migration
• Working knowledge in Linux OS/macOS, scripting skills to automate DBA activities
• Experience in maintaining databases in a cloud environment in MySQL
• Experience with query performance tuning, data loads, backup and restore, and index tuning
• Experience with Replication using native SQL replication
• Experience working within Agile software development methodology
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Would be a plus:

• Experience in fintech
• Work experience with NoSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
