Founding Engineer - Frontend

Role overview

We are seeking a talented Web3 Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Web3 Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with our product team to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of React, frontend state management, and performance optimization techniques.
• Exhibit proficient frontend system design skills, including API design and component structure. You should be able to handle asynchronous operations and effectively handle failure cases.
• Possess a good understanding of UI libraries and can explain their pros and cons. Specifically, experience with Tailwind CSS and a strong foundation in CSS knowledge is expected.
• Ability to build components with aesthetics in mind. While we have designers on the team, you should possess the skills necessary to make interfaces visually appealing through animations, component structure, and CSS.
• Utilize your experience working in the web3 and blockchain space to contribute to the development of decentralized applications and related technologies.
• A big bonus if you have experience in building SDKs or versioned products, as this will enhance our development capabilities.
• Another big bonus if you have previous experience as a founder, as it demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take ownership of projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years or equivalent level of experience as a software engineer
• Proven professional experience as a Web3 Frontend Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in React, frontend state management, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of frontend system design, including API design and component structure.
• Proficiency in UI libraries, such as Tailwind CSS, and solid CSS knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing components and interfaces.
• Experience working with web3 and blockchain technologies.
• Bonus points for experience in building SDKs or versioned products.
• Bonus points for previous experience as a founder.
