The Junior Manual QA Tester plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will execute test plans, report bugs, and collaborate closely with the development team to validate fixes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Passion for quality assurance and an eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
- Basic knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience in documenting test cases and writing clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing based on test plans and test cases.
- Identify, record, and track bugs in the bug tracking system.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during testing.
- Provide timely updates on test status and project risks.
- Participate in meetings with the Tech Lead.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and learning within the team.
